Why we chose:
Dr. Dog - Let’s sit down with a band and talk about appearing on talk shows. Why not? I mean, we are a talk show too, just one that focuses on the bands and their songs, not just 3 minutes of song and back to interviewing a cardboard cut out actor. These guys are heading to Aussie land soon, so when they get to your town, let them know you heard them on the TLP first-ish.
In Passing - Anyone who can rock the drum kit, while rocking the boots, needs some extra exposure. These cats have been all over the US and Canada recording with various musicians, and are taking a second crack at it on their own. Time to hit that second crack with a bulldozer to help with the explosive exposure.
The Bastard Fairies - It’s a catchy tune that takes me back to Guavaween with that guy with that sign parading up and down the street hanging out reminding us all not to have too much fun.
Wedgepiece - Randomly appearing in Ft. Myers unannounced, I managed to run into this band in three different places, three days in a row, all three of them. Let’s just say on day 4, they are still on my mind.
Plastron - Hmmmm, with a name like Rocktopus, I imagine a one entity band. One with 8 instruments and 10 arms. After hearing the song, I’m scared to look at the band bio photos, because I’d rather imagine 1 animal rocking out all those instruments at once. Now, that is multitasking.
