Why we chose:
Regulators – You know it’s sorta ironic to be in Key West at a Bachelor party and not think the reason you are there is because the dude getting married has a woman. That’s when John hits me up with, “Listen to my new tune that’s about to be released.” It’s catchy, poppy, danceable, and twangy. Perfect to sit back and taunt CK with, while we record an episode. I don’t think I’ve been this excited about a song since the Counterfeit Gypsies found me back in Episode 3.
Chatam – Considering we are down in the Keys to party, our theme of songs is dancing and having a good time. It should be everyone’s theme song for having a good time with its pop-punk feel. Pop-punk party pool people playing. Yup.
The Delivery Boys – They walked all over Ybor city handing out demos for their show at the Orpheum a couple of months ago. I walked all over Duval Street for several days collecting demos a month later. The last time I walked this much it was for episode 2 and the Summer Jam III review. This time around I walked for hours on end with no plan in site, other than showering when I was done. In honor of The Delivery Boys walking around town, we decided to play their song about a bed. However, this bed doesn’t stand still either.
Wonderful Johnson – A repeat? What were we thinking? Ray did such a fine job telling us about the nuances and intricacies recorded into the song, we have to give it another spin. Listen closely, or you’ll miss something, like you probably did the first time around. Time to take us back to the very first song of the season.
Emily’s Toy Box – They’re the kids talking trash in back of the bus, come and join them.

Just love that REGULATORS song, “I’ve Got a Woman.” It sure is snappy.
I downloaded a copy from iTunes.com and listen to it all the time, along with several other Regulators songs.
