Why we chose:
Balkan Beat Box – These guys transcend borders, and have recorded with people in countries all over the Mediterranean. Their first album is a tremendous collection of music.

Counterfeit Gypsies – After listening to 4 hours of hardcore music for my upcoming hardcore show I saw a friend request from a Happy Hardcore band called the Counterfeit Gypsies. Now, imagine with me if you would, 4 hours of face grinding music, and then their bright, cheerful, flashy website pops up and that music starts playing. After five minutes of constant laughing I hounded Dannie for about 48 hours to get them to submit a song. I want to share their music with the world. It’s awesome, but not Hardcore.

Wedgepiece – I’ve never collected stamps before, but I collect fortune cookie fortunes. Fortunes are about the size of stamps, only I don’t have to worry about them sticking to my hands. After listening to the refrain of “strike while the iron was hot,” I realized that I don’t own an iron, and I’m glad that I have polyester shirts. Alas, I forget where I was going with this passage. Scot, thank you for making me realize I need to do laundry.
